Clean Air is something that’s important to all Canadians. So in an effort to help
lower vehicle emissions and take older, more polluting cars off the road, Hyundai
is introducing our Clean Air Commitment.
Hyundai will top up any Retire Your Ride incentive, as funded by the Government
of Canada with up to $1000 in additional Clean Air Cash on a fuel-efficient new
vehicle. That's on top of Iower prices and financing as low as 0% that you already
get through the Hyundai Smart Advantage. Just take the following steps:
- · You must turn in your registered
and insured 1995 model year or older vehicle in running condition
- · If you've already participated
in Retire Your Ride, provide proof of acceptance to your Hyundai dealer or your
Hyundai
dealer can pre-qualify your vehicle for the Retire Your Ride program and submit
the application on your behalf
(not applicable in British Columbia).
It’s that simple. We want to make it both easy and affordable for Canadians to take
their old vehicle off the road by offering added rebates and taking away as much
of the work as possible. That way, we can all breathe a little easier.

1995 model year and older vehicles produce 19 times more smog-forming pollutants
than 2004 and newer models?
By recycling your old vehicle with the Retire Your Ride program, you’re keeping
it out of landfills and preventing dangerous toxins from being released into our
air, ground and water.
75% of an average car's content by weight can be recycled? This means it is extremely
important that vehicles are recycled responsibly.

**You may qualify for an additional incentive if you turn in your 1995 model year
and older vehicle and participate in the national Retire Your Ride program as funded
by the Government of Canada. To qualify, your vehicle must be 1995 model year or
older, in running condition and fully registered and insured in the participant's
province for the last 6 consecutive months (12 months in BC). Upon confirmation
of eligibility (by Retire Your Ride criteria) that your old vehicle qualifies for
the Retire Your Ride program, Hyundai Auto Canada will provide an additional Clean
Air Cash that must be applied to the purchase of a new Hyundai vehicle in the amount
of $500/$500/$500/$500/$500/$500/$500/$500/$1,000/$1000/$1,000 (2010 Accent/2009
